This is a digitally restored photograph of Martin’s Creek Viaduct, located in Nicholson, Pennsylvania, along the Lackawanna Railroad in Susquehanna County we sourced out of an antique encyclopedia. The bridge was built by F. M. Talbot Construction Company of New York in the year 1915. In making it, 77,500 cubic yards of concrete and 1,600,000 pounds of steel were used.
The bridge is the “little brother” of the Tunkhannock Viaduct.
